Janak Shrestha is an Engineering Geologist who earned his Master’s degree from the Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan University between 2023 and 2025. He possesses strong knowledge of geological and hydrogeological mapping, tunnel excavation, and geotechnical analysis. Through academic research—including his thesis on the evaluation of fine aggregates from the Sunkoshi River for mortar—and freelance fieldwork across Nepal, he has contributed to the hydrogeological mapping of springs as well as talc and iron ore prospecting.
