Mr. Nirajan Ojha

Nirajan Ojha is a Hydrogeologist with an M.Sc. in Geology from Tribhuvan University, specializing in mountain hydrogeology. His academic research focuses on the distribution and characterization of springs along the Phalebas Thrust in western Nepal, where he applied geological mapping and spring inventories to analyze the structural controls on groundwater. He presented his master's thesis findings at the International Groundwater Conference (2025) and participated in the WATER4NATURE international training on eco-friendly water resource management. A passionate advocate for public engagement, he has led community social surveys, worked on local climate change adaptation, conducted water resource assessments for underserved communities, and engaged in public health and sanitation programs as Youth Red Cross Circle President. His practical training and work on hydrogeological studies in Syangja, Makwanpur, and Dailekh complemented their technical expertise. He has conducted in situ water quality testing, climate change adaptation research, and social surveys on watershed management, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainable water security and community-focused environmental solutions.
